World of Warcraft: Forever Classes
A factual pre-beta class reference for WoW Forever, covering confirmed information, open questions, and MMO Forever beta verification plans.

Blizzard has confirmed that World of Warcraft: Forever is a new experience with a new playable Skyborne race, new abilities, and new race and class combinations. The official panel recap gives us a useful Skyborne class snapshot without publishing a complete class roster for every race.
That makes this a factual pre-beta reference, not a ranking. We will add broader class profiles only after the beta provides direct, repeatable evidence.
Playable Classes
The reviewed official announcements do not provide a complete list of every playable class in Forever. We will not copy a Retail or Classic roster and present it as confirmed Forever data.
Roles
Tank, healer, and damage roles will be documented from the Forever beta build. The current announcements do not establish which classes can fill each role or how those roles work.
What Blizzard Has Confirmed
- Forever is a new experience alongside Modern and Classic WoW.
- The game includes the new playable Skyborne race.
- Players progress from level 1 to 60.
- Class identity remains central, with new abilities and new race and class combinations.
Class Availability
A class appearing in another version of WoW is not proof that it appears in Forever. MMO Forever will record the character-creation options shown by the test client and attach the build context to each finding.
Race and Class Information
Blizzard confirms that Skyborne can join either faction. Both factions can play Skyborne Warriors, Hunters, Rogues, and Druids. Horde-aligned Skyborne also have access to Shaman, while Alliance-aligned Skyborne also have access to Mage. The panel recap also mentions new Skyborne druid forms.
These are confirmed Skyborne details, not a complete roster or a complete list of restrictions for every race.
Legacy Talent Relationship
Blizzard calls the system “Legacy progression” in the panel recap. It is described as supporting the level 1–60 journey and alternate characters. MMO Forever uses “Legacy Talents” as the name of its guide and tool, but that is our editorial label, not a claim that Blizzard uses the same term.
What May Differ from Modern or Classic WoW
Forever is described as its own experience. Shared names or familiar settings do not prove shared class mechanics, progression, balance, or restrictions.
What MMO Forever Will Verify During Beta
- The complete playable class and race list.
- Race and class restrictions and starting options beyond the confirmed Skyborne combinations.
- Role availability and class mechanics.
- Legacy progression behavior and progression details.
- Changes between beta builds.
Class Guide Roadmap
After verification, this guide will grow into class reference pages. Rankings, best-class claims, and performance recommendations will wait for repeatable testing and enough evidence to support them.
