World of Warcraft: Forever Legacy Talents Guide
A pre-beta explanation of the Legacy Talents coverage plan, with a direct link to the empty calculator and a clear boundary around unverified data.

MMO Forever uses “Legacy Talents” as the name of this guide and tool. Blizzard’s current official wording is “Legacy progression,” described as a system supporting the level 1–60 journey and alternate characters. The official sources do not publish verified Forever talent trees, so the calculator remains a tool foundation rather than a source of confirmed gameplay data.
This guide explains that terminology distinction and the evidence boundary. Verified data will be added progressively during beta.
What Are Legacy Talents?
“Legacy Talents” is MMO Forever’s editorial name for this coverage area. Blizzard currently calls the confirmed feature “Legacy progression.” We will not present our label as an official Blizzard system name.
What Blizzard Has Confirmed
The panel recap says Legacy progression supports the level 1–60 journey for players who enjoy leveling and alternate characters. It does not define trees, points, ranks, costs, or prerequisites, and it does not provide a verified dataset.
How Legacy Progression Fits into WoW Forever
The feature is connected to the level 1–60 journey and alternate characters, but its detailed relationship to classes, levels, and character progression remains to be verified in beta. We will not infer those mechanics from Modern WoW, Classic WoW, or generic API data.
What We Know Before Beta
- The public calculator route exists at /tools/legacy-talents.
- The production calculator currently has no verified talent dataset.
- No talent names, paths, costs, ranks, or prerequisites should be treated as confirmed yet.
What We Still Need to Verify
- Whether the feature uses talent trees or another structure.
- Class coverage and progression details.
- Names, descriptions, ranks, costs, prerequisites, and dependencies.
- How the system interacts with levels, alternate characters, and respecs.
- Changes between beta builds.
How MMO Forever Verifies Legacy Talents
We will capture the build, class, level, and visible talent state; repeat observations; preserve evidence; and record corrections when a later build changes a result. Only reviewed findings will move into the calculator dataset.

Beta Change Tracking
Each verified update will be tied to a beta build or authoritative announcement. Older findings will not silently remain current when a later build changes them.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I build a real Forever talent tree in the calculator now?
No. The calculator currently has no verified production talent dataset, so it should not be treated as a working Forever talent reference yet.
Will the calculator be filled before beta?
No promise is made here. Verified trees will be added progressively when the beta provides evidence and the findings pass review.
